Son of NBA Hall of Famer John Stockton and former NBA player David Stockton has been confirmed as signing with the Breakers.
A Breakers spokesperson told 1 NEWS the deal to bring in the guard from his Croatian club in Zagreb was done.
Stockton played three games for the Sacremento Kings last year while his father cemented a 19-year legacy with the Utah Jazz before being welcomed into the Hall of Fame as part of the 2009 class.
The spokesperson said Stockton would not be available for tomorrow night's game against the Cairns Taipans or Sunday's clash with the Perth Wildcats.
The Breakers have been on the lookout for a replacement guard after import Ben Woodside sustained a serious foot injury which will sideline him for six to eight weeks.
Stockton is expected to arrive this weekend.
