‘Mother****** is soft, bro’ - Steven Adams accuses Hornets opponent of flopping during Thunder win

Steven Adams has accused Hornets opposite Cody Zeller of flopping, saying during the Thunder’s 109-104 win over Charlotte that “mother***** is soft, bro,” according to an NBA writer.

According to ESPN’s Royce Young, Adams’ outburst came after a loose ball foul, with the big Kiwi initially saying “they’re real floppy” repeatedly before saying loudly, “mother----- is soft, bro,” in reference to 26-year-old Hornets centre Zeller.

Adams finished with 13 points, eight rebounds, a block and a steal to go with four assists.

Russell Westbrook had a game-high 30 points to go with 12 rebounds and eight assists.

The win in Oklahoma City takes the Thunder to an 12-6 record.

They face the Denver Nuggets tomorrow.
