Would you consider ditching the office for a construction site? The trades are in desperate need of apprentices and have found them coming from some unusual places.

TVNZ1's Seven Sharp reporter Tamati Rimene-Sproat went out into the field to meet some apprentices who have ditched the keyboard for a skill saw.
