WorkSafe opens investigation after death of geotechnical worker in Fiordland

WorkSafe has opened an investigation into the death of a geotechnical worker in Fiordland yesterday.

WorkSafe issued a brief statement announcing the investigation.

"We understand the worker was undertaking geotechnical work at the time," it said.

WorkSafe says it will not comment further while the investigation is underway.
