Woman's 'unexplained' death in Levin being investigated by police

Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found at a property in Levin yesterday afternoon.

The body was found around 4pm yesterday.

Police say in a statement this afternoon the death is currently being treated as unexplained.

A scene examination is being conducted today and a post mortem is due to be completed tomorrow.

Inquiries are ongoing, police say.
