Woman suffers possible spinal injury from 10m lake Rotoiti jump

A woman has been taken to a hospital in South Auckland with a suspected spinal injury after landing wrong in Lake Rotoiti.

Last night, the 18-year-old had jumped 10 metres into the lake just east of Lake Rotorua.

At around 6pm, the Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter crew airlifted her and her brother to Middlemore Hospital.
