A 55-year-old woman has been charged following a fatal hit-and-run in Christchurch in July on a man walking his dogs .
Steffan Pearce Loe, 30, was walking his dogs on Gayhurst Road, in Dallington, when he was struck by a vehicle at around 2.30am on July 5.
Mr Pearce Loe was critically injured and later died of his injuries in hospital.
The woman has been charged with failing to stop to ascertain injury after an accident, Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Cottam said.
