Woman charged with attempted murder over Christchurch stabbing appears in court

A woman has appeared in court charged over the alleged stabbing of a man in Christchurch yesterday.

The woman did not enter a plea when appearing in the Christchurch District Court today and has been remanded in custody.

The man is in a critical but stable condition in Christchurch Hospital's intensive care unit.

The woman will appear in the High Court in February.
