Witnesses sought to Kapiti crash in which driver left scene after cyclist injured

Police are seeking witnesses to a crash in Kapiti on Wednesday evening that saw the driver leave the scene after a cyclist was injured.

The crash occurred at about 6pm on on Raumati Rd, Paraparaumu and involved a car described as a blue or green hatchback, similar to a Toyota Starlet.

The cyclist suffered moderate injuries.

Anyone who has information about this incident is encouraged to get in touch by phoning Kapiti Police on (04) 296 6800.
