New Zealand police officers prove they're not above poking fun at themselves in their latest bid to attract more staff.
Continuing their recruitment drive with a series of videos playing to the Kiwi psyche, our police officers are now boogying in a carpark.
Rocking their best running man routine, the video is captioned, "We catch people on the run everyday".
That was pretty cool and good to see them having a bit of fun- Lexii Ashby Mana
Posted this afternoon to NZ Police's Facebook page, hundreds of people have reacted to the video - mostly, positively.
"This is why NZ has the best coppers! Lol so laid back & chilled," Roziinah Tagilima said.
"In comparison to police around the world, NZ by far has the best officers ! That was pretty cool and good to see them having a bit of fun," Lexii Ashby Mana agreed.
It follows two other hugely popular and controversial videos hoping to endear themselves to the public.
The first showed a young actor playing a hungry boy rummaging through rubbish bins, with the question, "Would you stop?"
Another video showed a man lying on the street convulsing, with a similar question.
The videos have created much chatter online, and gone viral around the world.
