Fire services are at the scene after a classroom block caught fire at a Wellington primary school today.
The fire was confirmed to have broken out at Otari School after a single storey building being used as a classroom and storage unit caught alight, at 5pm today.
A Fire Communications spokesperson confirmed to 1NEWS they were alerted to the fire following multiple 111 calls from residents and people in the area.
The fire was fully-involved by the time emergency services arrived.
It has since been put out but emergency services remain on the scene.
