Watch: Whitianga dolphins frolic with nature photographer, skimming beneath his paddle board

A Kiwi nature photographer has filmed a sprightly pod of dolphins effortlessly streaming beneath his paddle board in the clear blue Coromandel waters.

The picturesque footage was captured by ' I am The Flying Kiwi' , and published on his Facebook page.

In the photographer's bio, he describes his goal to spread the beauty of the Coromandel environment: "I try my best to represent the Coromandel by trying to capture and share what a beautiful place we have. Please be nice while you are here".

The footage has received over 5000 views since being posted on March 16.

Most of the over 300 comments touched on the stunning beauty of the surrounds, with the odd disgruntled mention of the paddle boarder's lack of a life jacket.
