A powerful performance has seen Te Kura o Te Teko-Ngā Taiohi crowned the overall winners of the 2017 National Primary Kapa Haka Competition today.
The Bay of Plenty school had some stiff competition over the five day event which took place at Rugby Park in Gisborne this week.
Third place went to Te Kapa Hurutea o Horouta Wānanga, and second place was taken out by Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Waioweka.
