The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have laid a wreath at Pukeahu National War Memorial Park, where Prince Harry was presented with the Badge in Gold, the RSA's highest honour given in recognition of his work with injured veterans.
The badge, presented by RSA national president B.J. Clark, was pinned to the prince's jacket by the duchess.
Despite the cold, large crowds, some holding signs, could be heard cheering as they gathered around the park to welcome the royals.
The pair, who briefly held hands, were solemn as they laid a large wreath in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, before bowing their heads for a moment of silence as The Last Post played.
