A New Zealand technology company is going global with their driverless car technology.
HMI Technologies has introduced an automated vehicle to be trialled in Sydney today, in what they are calling a "major step towards initiating the smart transport revolution".
The company is already running a similar trial with an automated vehicle at Christchurch Airport.
The vehicle carries up to 15 people, and will be trialled at Sydney's Olympic Park.
A third trial is planned for Melbourne in the future.
