A plane has crashed off the end of the Queenstown Airport runway, briefly suspending flights in and out of the airport this morning.
Police say there were four people on board the light aircraft.
The cause of the crash at 8.41am today is unknown. The crash was said to have happened on take off.
In a statement Queenstown Airport's communications manager Jen Andrews says no one was injured in the accident.
Ms Andrews said all four people on board were taken to hospital for observation.
Flights in and out of the airport were suspended after the crash, but have since resumed.
The Emergency Operations Centre has been activated and the Civil Aviation Authority has been notified.
