Waikato measles outbreak nearing 130

There are now nearly 130 cases of measles in the Waikato area, the Waikato District Health Board has confirmed.

It says approximately 80% of the cases are aged between 10-20 years old, 15% are aged under ten and the remaining five percent aged over 30.

Nine cases have been hospitalised while the others have been quarantined.

Of the 124 cases, only four people has been immunised.
