Waikato man airlifted to hospital in serious condition after motorcross accident

A 40-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after suffering multiple injuries in a motorcross bike crash in the Waikato.

Around 12.20pm today, the Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew flew to Glenn Murray to assist the male patient.

The 40-year-old was transported to Middlemore Hospital in Auckland instead of Waikato Hospital because of foggy conditions.
