The Waikato Expressway has reopened, following an incident on an overbridge earlier this morning, police have confirmed.
Motorists traveling to or through Waikato this morning were told to expect delays as police responded to what was described as an incident on an overbridge.
In a statement, police thanked motorists for their patience, while also warning to expect delays due to the backlog of traffic from the initial closure.
