A children's book writer and illustrator have chosen to make their home on Waiheke Island, Auckland's playground.
But theirs is not your usual house. In fact it feels like it's out of a storybook, TVNZ1's Seven Sharp reports.
Mark and Rowan Sommerset first built 'the barn', then came the Yurt, and finally a bathroom pod.
It's an idyllic existence, with plenty of storybook inspiration.
But the family is ready for a new adventure.
They're selling up, stirring up the creative juices.
Take a 'sticky beak' at the Sommerset's Waiheke house in Carolyn Robinson's video above.
