A massive growth in numbers projected to visit our national parks over the summer has prompted the Department of Conservation (DOC) to develop a campaign to educate both locals and tourists on how to treat our land.
"Visit the Kiwi way" is the slogan being pitched to visitors of our national parks which see over three million local and international visitors each year.
It will cost the Government $3.5million dollars to get the message through in order to protect our precious parks and wildlife.
