Christchurch police have released CCTV footage of a violent robbery at a service station in Edgeware on Sunday night.
Three men came into the Challenge station on Hills Road about 7.30pm armed with weapons and smashed up shop displays before stealing tobacco.
No one was harmed in the incident and the three men fled in a blue coloured hatchback, which police said was possibly a Subaru Impreza.
They arrived from, and left in the direction of Avon Road.
