Video: Stabbing at South Auckland motel draws heavy police presence

A man is in a serious condition after a stabbing in Papatoetoe.

A man received minor injuries after being stabbed at a motel in South Auckland this morning.

Police say they were called to the Budget Travellers Inn around 10:30am this morning to a reported stabbing.

They say a man received a minor stab wound at the address on the corner of Pembroke Street and Great South Road, Papatoetoe and is now being treated for his injuries.

Police are speaking to the man and inquiries are ongoing.
