Two people have been injured in a serious crash at an intersection on State Highway 1 in Karapiro, in the Waikato.
Both patients have been transported to Waikato Hospital with one in a serious condition and the other in a moderate condition.
The accident involved two vehicles and took place at the intersection of SH1 and State Highway 29.
Emergency services are in attendance with police advising motorists to expect delays.
