Two men face charges after being arrested at clandestine meth lab south of Blenheim

Two men face charges of drug dealing and unlawful possession of a firearm after they were arrested on Monday at what police allege was a clandestine methamphetamine lab south of Blenheim.

Police executed a search warrant, which was related to methamphetamine dealing in the Marlborough area, at the address in Wairau Valley on State Highway 63.

Two 35-year-old men were arrested and charged, one for unlawful possession of a firearm and the other for dealing methamphetamine.

Experts from ESR and the National Clan Lab Response Team assisted police at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
