TVNZ reporter runs through how to make a fabric face mask

August 13, 2020

Wilson Longhurst got the scissors out and got to work.

One of the ways New Zealanders have been advised to help stop spread and protect themselves against Covid-19 is by wearing face masks.

The advice comes from the Government who recommends wearing a mask when you can’t social distance and for Aucklanders when they’re out in public.

Masks don’t have to be single use as long as a person covers their mouth and nose. A scarf or homemade cloth mask are some examples of what can be used.

TVNZ Breakfast reporter Wilson Longhurst got to work on making his own mask.
