Thick fog making Otago crash site hard to see for motorists, police urge careful driving

Police are warning motorists to drive carefully near Milburn in Otago as thick fog blankets the area.

A car and ute crashed on the Waihola Highway at 6.45am this morning, with one person trapped in the car with moderate injuries. 

Police say the fog may make the debris and the crash site hard to see. 

Delays are expected for motorists.
