Teenager hospitalised after being seriously stabbed in Ōtāhuhu, Auckland

A teenager was taken to Middlemore Hospital last night with serious injuries after being stabbed in the South Auckland suburb of Ōtāhuhu.

Police were called to Ōtāhuhu College at about 10pm after reports an 18-year-old male had been stabbed during a fight.

Police say his injuries were not life-threatening. 

The alleged offender was described by police as “male in his late teens, about 178cm tall, and of skinny build with a long afro.”

He was wearing a black t-shirt, cream shorts, black sneakers and a cap.
