Teenage girl dies after fiery Christchurch crash

The crash, which occurred late last night, has left another person in critical condition.

A teenage girl who has been fighting for her life after a Christchurch crash in November has died.

The 16-year-old was critically injured in the late-night crash on Summit Rd , which killed her sister, on November 27.

The car caught fire during the crash and the girl suffered severe burns.

She died in Middlemore Hospital last night, police confirmed late this morning.

An investigation into the crash in still ongoing.
