Shots reportedly fired from a vehicle in Wellington

Shots have reportedly been fired from a vehicle in Wellington early this morning. 

Police told 1 NEWS they were called around 7.44am today about the incident on Fergusson Drive in Upper Hutt. 

Armed Police are at an address on the street according to Stuff. 

"There are no reported injuries and police are in the area making inquries," a police spokesperson told 1 NEWS.

"There is not thought to be any risk to the public at this stage, however anyone who notices anything suspicious is asked to contact police."
