Serious crash involving motorcyclist closes off ramp near Mosgiel

A serious crash involving a motorcyclist has closed an off ramp near Mosgiel.

Police say that the Dunedin Southern Motorway, near the Mosgiel off ramp, is currently closed in both directions following a serious crash.

The crash occurred at 7.30pm and involved a motorcyclist.

One person has serious injuries.

Diversions are in place through Mosgiel southbound and Kinmont northbound.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area. The Serious Crash Unit have been advised.
