Police were called to the Work and Income NZ office in the Auckland suburb of Glen Innes this morning following an incident in which a member of the public assaulted a security officer.
Police say a 45-year-old man was arrested and will be appearing in court to face a charge of common assault.
The security worker did not require medical treatment.
