Search underway for woman missing in water off Hawke's Bay

A woman is missing off the coast of Hawke's Bay after getting into trouble in the water today.

Police said the search is expected to continue until dark. 

Two children made it back to shore and were taken to hospital after the incident off Haumoana, near Napier.

They are both in a stable condition. 

The search is being co-ordinated by Police and involves Coastguard, Surf Lifesaving, and a helicopter.
