The director, Brother Guy J. Consolmagno of the Vatican’s observatory, is touring New Zealand.

The internationally acclaimed astronomer later became a Jesuit Brother, then the director of the Vatican Observatory.
On TVNZ1's Q+A, Brother Guy was asked about Pope Francis. "He is very much in private as you see in public," he said.
