Review ordered into two Government agencies' response to alleged bullying by Wally Haumaha

The inquiry was launched after it emerged Mr Haumaha reportedly showed support for officers accused of assaulting Louise Nicholas.

1 NEWS has confirmed with the State Services Commission that it is reviewing how two departments that handled allegations of bullying made against Deputy Police Commissioner Wally Haumaha.

It’s the third review into the appointment.

Commissioner Peters Hughes will look into the Ministry of Justice and Department of Corrections to make sure correct processes were followed.

Three women who worked at Justice and Corrections had issues working on a joint project at police headquarters in 2016. Two of the women made formal complaints this year, which are being investigated.
