Raw video: Country house destroyed in fierce blaze in West Coast town

October 18, 2017

A country house has been decimated by a blaze in the township of Ruatapu, south of Hokitika on the West Coast this evening.

Emergency services were called to the address on Butler St around 5pm.

Fire services required three appliances and a water tanker to bring the blaze under control.

No one was hurt and the fire was extinguished by 6.30pm.
