Radiographers walk off job in strike action after months of pay negotiations

More than 1000 radiographers throughout the country are walking off the job today after months of pay negotiations reached a stalemate.

Apex, the union representing DHB-employed radiographers, said demand for medical imaging services had skyrocketed, resulting in recruitment and retention issues.

A second 24-hour strike is planned for Wednesday.
