Police are on the hunt for a man with distinctive face tattoos.
In a statement this afternoon, police said they were looking for 23-year-old Peta Gemmell, who has a warrant to arrest.
Gemmell has ties to Wairoa, Whakatāne and Hawke’s Bay, they said.
Police urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 111 and quote event number 210211/5268, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
