A body has been located in the water near the Downtown Ferry Terminal in Auckland's harbour.
Police told 1 NEWS they have been at the scene since 7.45am.
"We are working to recover the body. No further information is available at this stage as police are still conducting inquiries," a police spokesperson told 1 NEWS.
When asked if the body was of James Harley David Jenkins, who fell into the water on October 7, the spokesperson said, "it's a bit early in the process to confirm anything".
