A man yelling for help was discovered down a bank in an Auckland suburb with a bashed head and scrapes on his hands and knees.

Police were alerted to the scene on Monday evening at around 5.30pm after a member of the public at the intersection of Park Road and Glenfield Road.
The 33-year-old had suffered moderate injuries to his head, hands and knees.
Police told 1 News when questioned, the man was unable to recollect how he sustained his injuries.
However they believe he may have been skateboarding prior to the crash.
Police are calling on any witnesses who may have seen what happened the North Shore Road Policing Team on 09 488 6200.
