Person seriously injured after crashing into cow on Canterbury road

One person is in hospital in a serious condition after crashing into a cow in Canterbury overnight.

Emergency services were called to Grange Road near Burnham just before 1am.

A police spokesperson says after hitting the cow, the car left the road crashing through a fence and hitting a water tank.

The cow died at the scene.
