Person left critically injured after house fire in Auckland

A person was left critically injured after a house fire in Auckland yesterday. 

Fire and Emergency services were called at 1.27am Saturday morning regarding a residential house well-involved with flames at Middleton Road, Remuera, Auckland.

A police spokesperson confirmed with 1 NEWS a person was found inside the property and was taken to Middlemore hospital by ambulance.

The person remains critical condition and police are currently investigating the incident.
