One person has died following a three-vehicle crash in New Plymouth just before noon today.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Devon Road (SH3) in Brixton at around 11.35am, police said. One vehicle was reportedly on fire following the crash.
A second person received serious injuries and was transported to hospital.
The road remains closed and the investigation into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
