Person in critical condition following alleged Upper Hutt assault

A person is in a critical condition following an alleged assault in Trentham, Upper Hutt, tonight.

Emergency services were called just after 8.30pm. 

A police spokesperson has told 1 NEWS one person is in a critical condition and another has been arrested in relation to the incident.
