Person dies in hospital after Invercargill crash last week

One of the drivers in a three-vehicle crash in Invercargill last week has died in hospital.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Morton Street and Centre Street about 3.50pm on Wednesday.

In a statement this afternoon, police said a driver in one of the vehicles involved died yesterday.

The police investigation into the circumstances of the collision are continuing.
