Person dead after crash in Whitford, Auckland

A person has died following a crash in Whitford, Auckland on Tuesday. 

Police confirmed the news on Wednesday morning. 

A two-vehicle crash on Whitford Road was reported on Tuesday at about 2.30pm. 

Two people were injured in the crash. One person was taken to Auckland Hospital via ambulance in a critical condition, where they died. 

An investigation into the crash continues.
