A pedestrian hit by a bus in central Auckland this afternoon is in hospital in a critical condition.
Police say the collision between a bus and a pedestrian happened on Symonds Street, which was reported to them just before 3.20pm.
The pedestrian has been taken to Auckland Hospital in a critical condition.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance, traffic management is in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area and expect delays, police say.
