A cyclist has died after a crash involving a truck in Auckland's Panmure this afternoon.

Police told 1 NEWS emergency services were called to the crash near the intersection of Tripoli Road and Hobson Drive about 12.40pm today.

The cyclist died at the scene.

Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

The serious crash unit is in attendance.
