Pedestrian fatally injured in collision with car in Dunedin

A pedestrian has died following a collision with a car in Dunedin.

Police were called to the scene at the intersection of Dundas Street and Great King Street at 6pm.

The intersection remains closed with diversions in place and the serious crash unit is on its way to investigate the incident.

The person's next of kin are being notified, police say.
