Pair of rogue blue penguins find a home in Wellington sushi shop

The little penguins have forced DOC to plug up holes around the shop to stop them from coming in.

A pair of rogue little blue penguins in Wellington has forced The Department of Conservation to plug up holes around a Wellington sushi shop.

The penguins had picked the shop as their nesting spot.

Police moved them into the water early yesterday, but they came waddling back.

DOC thinks these birds have great homing skills which means they could be back again.
